Bucklers are a type of small, lightweight shield used primarily in combat to provide maneuverable protection for the body from the hand and forearm. It could also just be your computer not having enough resources too.All the bucklers in Immersive Armors come from VincentIcarus's mod Bucklers - Shields and Other Armours.

Sadly, even if doing that does fix the problem uninstalling the mods may just kick new problems further down the road, or cause other smaller issues. The last one is the best to have of the three, and if you know what edits the area/spell/etc you can try turning off those mods to see if anything changes. The first one is obviously the worst and you may as well delete that save, but the second one is pretty bad too and doesn't have a high chance of being resolved in your save's favor and probably involves some sort of script problem. Sometimes a save will be completely borked after that (as in just loading the save will crash the game), other times you will still be able to load the save, but it will crash after a roughly constant amount of time regardless of what you do, and other times it will only crash if you go near the same area, cast the same spell (or have an enemy do the same), or something else repeatable. That is typically from some sort of mod problem.

If it works on the new level then the guards on your old level should take the changes on when the cell resets and new guards spawn (If the mod adds new armors and changes the outfit lists to use them) if not immediately (the mod replaces armors). If it breaks then one of your patches is an old/broken patch.Īlmost forgot to mention it, but after you do this start a new level after each time and confirm that the guards are/aren't how they should be. If it is still fine at this point then something else is overwriting the guards. If that fixes it then try turning your patches back on but keep the mod towards the end of the load order. Make sure to go in and disable the distribution of armor to soldiers and guards (make sure to untick the box of varied helmets on them for good measure). I also see you are using Immersive Armors.

Try manually telling the mod manager you use to load guard armors towards the end, and temporarily disable any patch mods you have related to it (I see at east one). Here's my load order (sorry for the massive list) i can force a resetinventory through console command but nothing yet in terms as a solution I've tried and it hasn't changed anything.
